BioAstin on Oprah

A reference to Natural Astaxanthin was made on the hugely popular Oprah Winfrey television program last week by Dr. Nicholas Perricone, MD. The topic of the show was “Look Ten Years Younger in Ten Days,” and Dr. Perricone spoke about an antioxidant called Astaxanthin that “is 100 times stronger than Vitamin C and Vitamin E” and is a “wonderful anti-inflammatory.”

Dr. Perricone is a NY Times best selling author. His most recent book is called “The Perricone Promise: Look Younger, Live Longer in Three Easy Steps.” On pages 45 – 47 of this book, Dr. Perricone extols the benefits of Natural Astaxanthin, calling it among other things the “antioxidant champ of all carotenoids, ten times stronger than beta carotene and 100 times stronger than Vitamin E.”

We have seen increased interest in BioAstin® Natural Astaxanthin since this program aired. At the same time, Dr. Perricone’s book has risen on the best seller charts. We want to make our customers aware that they should also see an increase in consumer demand for Natural Astaxanthin products.
