Expo West Keynote Speaker Focuses on Inflammation

At the Natural Products Expo West in California last week, the Keynote Speaker, Dr. Nicholas Perricone, MD spoke about how inflammation causes skin problems as well as a host of other diseases. Dr. Perricone said that he felt that supplementation with anti-inflammatories is essential for good health. He also mentioned that Natural Astaxanthin is a wonderful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, and is in fact one of the only antioxidants that never becomes a pro-oxidant.
